Following lunch, the main session kicked off with a Keynote Presentation by FUBU founder and star of ABC’s Shark Tank, Daymond John. Daymond shared insights from founding his company as a homegrown start-up in Queens, New York, and lessons learned from building his brands overseas. Then, FiftyOne Chief Executive Officer, Michael DeSimone, gave attendees an update on FiftyOne operations including YTD performance and key industry trends, before unveiling several major new product initiatives. This was followed by moderated roundtable discussions of key ecommerce topics including global consumer behavior, cross-border logistics, and the Chinese marketplace.

A number of industry experts also spoke at the event, including Mercent CEO, Eric Best, and Rich Relevance Chief Evangelist, Jake Bailey.

The main session concluded with a presentation of the FiftyOne Product Roadmap by Chief Strategy Officer & EVP, Sales, Kris Green. Kris led attendees through an in-depth review of the FiftyOne development pipeline and outlined 2012 product initiatives.

Following the main session, attendees retired to the Trump SoHo’s SoHi room on the 46th floor for a cocktail reception where they enjoyed stunning views of lower Manhattan and a closing presentation by humorist, author, and Daily Show resident expert, John Hodgman.

All in all, a fantastic event!
